The NOVA H1 Audio Earrings are available in two versions – plated gold and plated silver – and have two different styles – Clip-on and Stud.

It depends primarily on your personal style and whether your ears are pierced. No, the NOVA H1 Audio Earrings are not waterproof. Although they are protected enough for rain, you should avoid showering or swimming with the NOVA H1 Audio Earrings. Besides that, the Bluetooth signal connecting your phone to your Audio Earrings would not work under water.

We believe that the NOVA H1 are versatile, so if you usually do sports with earrings on, you can also use the NOVA H1. However, even though the NOVA H1 stay firmly on your earlobes, we recommend to be careful and avoid particularly active sports, especially outdoors, to avoid losing one of the earrings or dropping them on the asphalt which could cause optical damage to the pearl. In general, sports with softer moves like yoga or golf shouldn’t be a problem. When it comes to swimming, do not use the NOVA H1 as they are not waterproof.

Absolutely. Since the ear canal is not blocked, you can listen to music/podcast/audiobook or make phone calls while being aware of your surroundings, metro announcements, etc.

Yes, since the NOVA H1 do not block the ear canal, they can be worn while wearing hearing aids. However, the Audio Earrings cannot replace hearing aids. Also note that we do not test all hearing aid models, so we cannot guarantee how the hearing aid will amplify sound. You can use the Audio Earrings for Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom and any other applications, audio or music apps and platforms on your smartphone, tablet or PC, just like you would do with regular earphones.

We wouldn't recommend doing this. As with any piece of jewelry, we recommend taking the Audio Earrings off before sleep. This is not only more convenient, but also safer (for example, if the Audio Earrings fall off the bed onto the floor, it may cause optical damage to the pieces).

The NOVA H1 Audio Earrings must be paired with your device once you use them for the first time. Take one Audio Earring and set it to pairing mode by pressing the button on the back for three seconds. You will hear an audio signal indicating the pairing mode. Then go into your device’s settings and in the list of Bluetooth devices choose and connect to the NOVA H1. The next time you turn NOVA H1 on, they will automatically connect to your device so you just put them on and start using.

It is essential to wear the right earring on your right ear and the left earring on your left ear so that the person on the other end of your phone call can hear you clearly. If you wear earrings in the wrong ears during a phone call, the algorithm in the chip that blocks out your surrounding background noise (e.g. wind) for your interlocutor will instead block out your own voice.

No, the NOVA H1 do not provide Active Noise Cancelation. Since the Audio Earrings are placed outside the ear canal (on the earlobe or earhelix), it is not possible to suppress ambient noise. In fact, it is one of the unique features of the NOVA H1 that allows you to stay receptive to the outside world at all times.

The NOVA H1 are compatible with any device running on iOS (from iPhone 4S and new models) and Android (from Android 4.4 KitKat, lollipop 5.0 and more updated versions) operating systems.

With the current battery, fully charged Audio Earrings have a battery life of 3,5-4,5 hours.
